I must make this quick but I have a new adventure in mind.
I have always wanted to be a children's book illustrator, like Beatrix Potter. I love that style but something a bit modernized. Therefore each month I will attempt a true ink and watercolor illustration, most likely of my children on our mini farm, seeing as that is what I have the most emotional attraction to at this moment. Hopefully that will draw some life and whimsy into my attempts. Wish me luck.
Now how to figure out how to keep my camera handy without getting it dirty...maybe Ree has some suggestions.

My husband is a writer, not by trade, but by heart. He would love to write a children's book. As soon as I read your post, I thought you were the missing link for his book - the artist!! If he ever has time to actually produce something, I'll let you know!
